Follow this 5 step guide to find your new home with Harcourts. If you have any questions at all, call our friendly team on 034410793 or email

1. Find a house or apartment you wish to view
You can find all our listings here on our website, realestate.co.nz, lwb.co.nz, trademe.co.nz and in our office.

 

2. Arrange a viewing
Let us know which property you wish to view. Call or email our office and we will set up an available viewing time. It usually takes around 15 minutes and we can answer all your questions before, during and after the viewing. You need to view a property before you can apply for it.

 

3. Apply for the property
If you like the property make sure to fill in our application form as soon as possible, you can find the application form here. Let us know if you rather want to have a paper copy. Make sure to include the documents below:

  • Application form (one each per tenant)
  • Passport or driver license
  • Visa details
  • Reference from previous landlord or employer
     

4. Let our property managers be in touch
When we have received your application we will do a full background, reference and credit check. If everything looks good we will send off your application to the property owner. Please allow up to 5 working days for this process. We will be in contact as soon as we have a decision.

 

5. Accepted! You are ready to move in to your new home...
Congratulations on your new home. Your application has been successful and we will now organize a move in date that we agree is suitable. During this time we will do a tenancy agreement, full written property condition report with photos for you and you are welcome in to our office to sign this with your new property manager. To secure the property we need you to pay the move in cost prior to moving in:

  • First weeks rent
  • Bond - 4 weeks rent
